Maine Climbers Alliance

                    Mission Statement

To unite local climbers, providing a forum for setting and achieving the goals of our organization: To conserve climbing areas; be guardians of our natural spaces; to promote the sport of rock climbing by raising visibility of climbers in our State; to advance the reputation of climbers as safe, responsible and dedicated to community; to achieve access for climbers through sucessful partnerships between climbers and land owners.

MCA is a non-profit organization that seeks to unify climbers of all ages and experience. We are devoted to community building and working for access in the state of Maine. 

We are a social group with an informal structure; we work collaboratively with no hierarchy. Group tasks such as meeting facilitation and note-taking are shared. Please e-mail us if you would like to take on a specific responsibility within MCA.
